Academic transition at FECAI as Professor Agwu Ekwe Agwu officially takes the reins as Provost, succeeding Dr. J. U Nwawuisi who served in an acting capacity.

The Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu (FECAI), has entered a new chapter this week following the official appointment and emergence of Professor Agwu Ekwe Agwu as the substantive Provost of the institution. This development brings an end to a brief transition period where Dr. J. U Nwawuisi steered the affairs of the college as the Acting Provost for several months.

Leading the tributes is Comrade Ani Onwukwe, the National President of the Ohanivo Elites Forum and a prominent leader within the Ohaozara association. In a heartfelt congratulatory message, Comrade Ani described Professor Agwu as an "industrious son and brother," noting that his emergence is a "well-deserved appointment" for the home of peace and solid minerals.

In his statement, Comrade Ani also extended kudos to the Honourable Minister of Works and Housing, Senator David Nwaeze Umahi, recognizing his continued influence and leadership in the region. The message, which has been circulating across social media, offered prayers for the new Provost, asking for divine wisdom to "pilot the affairs of the College to its enviable heights."
