NDDC Ready to Partner Burna Boy for Ahoada Development — Dr Samuel Ogbuku

The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Samuel Ogbuku, has reaffirmed the commission’s readiness to partner with Nigerian music star Burna Boy to drive development in Rivers State.

Dr Samuel Ogbuku, who received the Grammy-winning artist during a recent engagement, described him as one of the Niger Delta’s finest musical ambassadors and a source of pride to the region.

He noted that Burna Boy’s global influence positions him as a powerful force in attracting investment and attention to the Niger Delta, particularly in Ahoada West.

According to Ogbuku, the commission is fully prepared to collaborate with the artist in implementing sustainable development initiatives that will directly benefit local communities.

He further encouraged Burna Boy to continue championing development in Port Harcourt, acknowledging the city’s role in shaping his journey to global recognition.

As part of its commitment, the commission announced plans to begin infrastructure improvements in the community, including the installation of solar-powered streetlights and the construction of internal road networks.

These initiatives, Ogbuku noted, are part of broader efforts to enhance living conditions and promote long-term development across the Niger Delta.
