Desmond Elliot who is vying for  Surulere Constituency I seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly made the information public. He mentioned that him and his supporters have been initimitated and being stopped. To that end, he decided to withdraw from the race, primary election.

From report, the party had decided on a consesus candidate, Baratat Odenuga-Bakare, to which other aspirants accepted and stepped down to but Desmond Elliot had initially insisted and had been pushing the struggle. This initial persistence had led to withdrawal of his  security details alongside other form  harassment.
