Shocking! Woman reportedly cuts off her husband’s manhood in Yobe

​The things we hear these days! A truly horrific incident has reportedly taken place in Yobe State, where a woman is said to have cut off her husband's manhood.

​The incident, which occurred on Sunday, February 8, 2026, has left the entire community in shock. While the details of what led to this extreme action are still emerging, it is alleged that the couple had a disagreement before the wife took a sharp object to commit the act while he was vulnerable.

​The victim has been rushed to the hospital where he is said to be in critical condition. Reacting to the gruesome event, the Yobe State Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Ado, strongly condemned the crime.

​In a statement through the command’s spokesperson, the CP emphasized that "marriage should be built on mutual respect, understanding, patience, and tolerance," and warned that the law would take its full course. He also urged couples to seek counseling or peaceful dialogue rather than resorting to such extreme violence.
