Pastor W.F. Kumuyi’s official Facebook page compromised; hackers post "The Roughneck" movie poster and strange chats. Beware!

Pst William Kumuyi Account

Followers of the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi, were left in total shock today (15-02-2025) after his official Facebook page began sharing content that is worlds apart from his usual "Holiness" messages.

The verified page, which has millions of followers, was seen posting a gritty movie poster titled "The Roughneck," featuring characters holding guns—an image that goes completely against everything the man of God stands for. As if that wasn't enough, the hackers also shared screenshots of random WhatsApp group chats and birthday messages.

Eagle-eyed followers were quick to spot the anomaly, with many taking to the comment section to warn others to "Beware" and disregard any messages coming from the handle for now. One top fan, Moses Ogeodo, commented: "This account is compromised at the moment," as the strange posts continued to go live.

This isn't the first time high-profile clerics have been targeted by fraudsters looking to fleece unsuspecting members or simply cause a stir. For now, it’s best to stay away from any links or "money requests" that might pop up from the page!

What do you guys think? Why are hackers targeting our men of God these days?
